About Rich Kingston

I started playing rugby age 6 in the days when it was full contact. I joined Staines Rugby club and went on to win just about everything with the greatest team ever. Middlesex champions 4 years out of 5 and only lost twice at 15's in under 13 and 14. I went to the Mall School and Hampton where I broke into the school teams very early, I was 8 playing in under 11's and 15 when I first played for the School first 15. Sadly as with many injury started to take it's toll and although I carried on after school for a few years I retired in 1997. I used to watch England from a young age, being taken to England vs The Rest in the early 80's and my first full international was Peter Winterbottom's debut against Australia in 1981, which also included Erica Roe! I studied Sport at Staffordshire University and although I will happily watch nearly all sport rugby is my first love. I am a father of two and can't wait to ruin my son's body by getting him started as soon as possible. I am also coming out of retirement this weekend and having a run out with Littlehampton, so this may well be my only blog...
