The defending champions Crusaders sit top of the Super 15 as they’ve won all their opening three games in convincing fashion.

They are looking for a hat-trick of consecutive titles as they want to emulate that great period between 98-00 where they won three titles in a row. They are the only team to ever complete a hat-trick in Super Rugby History. They are on the hunt for their 10th ever Super Rugby crown this year.

Scott Robertson’s men picked up a good-hard fought victory last weekend on the road against the Queensland Reds at Suncorp Stadium on a shoreline of 22-12 as they won their 18th consecutive game in a row and 8th win in succession away from home. This was without key players Sam Whitelock, Kieran Read and Ryan Crotty.

They achieved a two-point victory against the Blues in Round 1 and beat the Hurricanes convincingly in Christchurch Stadium in Round 2. They’ll be hard for any team to stop. They host the Chiefs this weekend who haven’t yet won a game in their opening three encounters in this year’s competition. The Crusaders will fancy themselves to go four from four this weekend.

Three rounds played, three games won, three in a row in sight. Their top of the table leading their pursuit to winning their 10th ever title, there’s still a very long way to go, but can they be stopped?
