Naka Drotske, who played for South Africa during their World Cup win on home soil is in hospital after being shot during a robbery in Pretoria the BBC has reported.

Drotske was with his team mate Os du Randt when the robbery took place although the latter is said not to be injured.

Drotske, 47 played one game for his country during their famous World Cup win in 1995. During his playing career he was a hooked for the Blue Bulls and the Free State Cheetahs.
