David Pocock has been sidelined for the weekends Rugby Championship game against South Africa due to the fact that he has failed to recover from a neck problem.
The Brumbies flanker admitted the injury was ongoing but was made worse when he was the victim of an illegal neck roll when playing the All Blacks.
The All Blacks were accused of targeting Pocock when they beat the Wallabies 40-12 in Auckland.
Pete Samu has replaced Pocock in the side and will earn his first test cap in Brisbane.
