Jared Payne continues his run of bad luck in this years Lions tour, after migraines continue to add to his list of worries.
Payne was left out for the Lions’ draw against Hurricanes last week, but the medical staff did not expect the problems to last this long; keeping him an option for the following test, only to be ruled out again.
Although, he will continue to be dismissed from the team sheet until the symptoms are gone; with the problems linked with rugby and concussion, it is good to hear Head Coach Warren Gatland say; “The specialists are happy that the symptoms are not concussion related and he is expected to recover fully.”
Although the signs do not seem serious, Payne’s recovery time is still unpredictable, meaning that he could still be out of action when he returns home to rejoin the Ulster squad.
