Since Billy Vunipola chose to drop out of the Lions tour next month with an ongoing shoulder injury, his replacement James Haskell has paid him a big compliment.
Haskell has said to the media that; “From a personal point of view it is a bit difficult because Billy is a really good mate of mine… He’s an unbelievable player and probably the best number eight in the world.” which is a big call considering the quality occupying some of the number eight shirts around the world.
Although the relationship between the two is second to none, Haskell is still delighted with his inclusion, further stating; “It has been a childhood dream to be involved in the Lions that I never thought was going to happen.”
Haskell will join the squad after his club duties this weekend. Who thinks that he will be up to the quality of the big Aussie born forward?
