England boss Eddie Jones has expressed his delight with the draw for the 2019 Japan World Cup earlier today.
The 12 team tournament has now been split into the 3 pools which will decide who goes forward to the knockout stages of the tournament. England are set to face the likes Argentina and France in their group; one which England will be expected to top.
Although, even with tough opposition, “You think it’s difficult, but we’re excited by it. It’s not a tough group, it’s a good group,” Jones told Sporting Life. The confident mindset of the coaching mastermind is one which will ease the minds of England fans, after they were knocked off their unbeaten run by Joe Schmidt’s Ireland in their last game of the Six Nations.
After seeing the groups, who do you think is going to take home the trophy in 2019?
