Italy head coach Conor O’Shea has now named his side which will step onto the pitch for their Six Nations opener against Wales at the weekend.

He has changed 5 faces from the team which shocked an unwell South Africa last year. 13 of the 15 who are starting play their club game in Italy; this does not include their captain, Sergio Parisse who will lead out the Italians for his 122nd cap since he earned his international place back in 2002.

Italy will have a hell of a lot of work to do if they want to turn over a well prepared and healthy Wales side, who look to push back an Ireland side who will look to improve from last years 3rd place finish and knock England off their number 1 spot and take the trophy back to Ireland.

Italy’s side for the tournament opener looks like this… Who thinks this side has the potential to start Italy off on winning terms?
