With the Six Nations fast approaching, it will be reassuring for England fans to hear that George Kruis is more than confident that he will be fit for their opener against France. With Jones’ side being battered by injuries from the word go, it makes a change to see players going in and not out of the squad.

Despite the missing faces, England are still favourites, and their opponents know this. Alun Wyn-Jones, who is back for his second term as Wales captain said to BBC Breakfast that England “..are the team to beat..” Although, Wales will not go into their encounter with England on the 11th of February with anything other than a win in mind.

Even with the depth of England’s squad this year, Jones will be happy to be getting a few of his first choice players back in training, as Marler and Hartley are also back to fitness. This only adds to England’s already good chances of a successful Six Nations defence. It will be interesting to see who Jones picks for his starting XV as he finalises his side towards the end of the week; as quality is definitely one thing Eddie’s side is not short of.

Who would you pick to start in Eddie’s side to face France on the 4th of February?
