Allister Coetzee, the current South African rugby coach, held a team assembly back in May at Cape Town International Airport. What you might expect to be a standard procedure of meeting a new coach and listening to their plan for the squad, Coetzee had other ideas.

The Boks were told that instead of making their way to the training camp in the luxury team bus they had to make their own way there, while performing community based tasks along the way.

With the deadline of the first team session looming, players had to make some creative and somewhat desperate decisions to get to Stellenbosch on time.

A great way to get the international stars interacting with the local people of South Africa and of course to promote the game of Rugby within the country.
