15.Joaquin Tuculet

The Argentine full back has nailed down the number 15 shirt for the World Cup, but remains relatively unknown outside of Argentina.

14.Nehe Milner-Skudder

Milner-Skudder looks set to be the breakthrough All Blacks at the World Cup after impressing in his two tests so far.

13.Michele Campagnaro

The Italian centre has missed plenty of this season with injury, but will be key to his side’s hopes at the World Cup this year.

12.Jesse Kriel

Although he’s more likely to feature at outside centre, it was impossible to leave Kriel out such has been his form of late.

11.Leonardo Sarto

The Italian winger impressed during this years Six Nations and will now hope to continue his good form into the World Cup.


10.Handre Pollard

It’s a toss up between Pollard and Patrick Lambie as to who starts for the Springboks but if he can find form he could have a big tournament.

9.TJ Perenara

Perenara will start as backup to Aaron Smith, but have no doubt as to the impact he could make coming off the bench.

8.Adam Ashe

The Scottish loose forward looks set to play a key role for his side having already impressed on the international stage.

7.Pablo Matera

The Los Pumas flanker is still just 22, however he looks to be a real star of the future after several impressive displays.

6.Sam Cane

Although Cane is still fighting for his place, if he travels with the All Blacks he could prove key should McCaw pick up an injury.


5.Sebastian Vahaamahina

The giant French lock seems to have been around for ages despite only being 23 and will bring plenty of grunt to the second row.

4.Will Skelton

Another monster lock, Skelton will likely be used as an impact sub for the Wallabies were he can use his size to make dents in the opposition.

3.Eddy Ben Arous

The French prop is a solid scrummager whilst also acting as an additional back rower such is his ability at the breakdown.

2.Jamie George

George could well find himself as England’s second choice hooker if he can prove his credentials over the next couple of weeks.

1.Jack McGrath

McGrath will provide support to Cian Healy at loosehead for Ireland where he has already proven to be a more than able deputy.
