Next season looks like it could be a huge one for Harlequins as they look to bolster a squad that has hugely under-performed so far this year, here’s there potential starting XV…

*This side is based on Harlequins current squad, confirmed signings and strong rumours

15. Mike Brown

The England full back is still one of the very best around and consistently brings his international form onto the clubs stage.

14. Marland Yarde

Yarde has had a slow start to his Harlequins career, however he looks to be starting to settle in and will hopefully live up to his potential next year.

13. George Lowe

Many outside of Harlequins may not know too much about Lowe, however if he can stay fit next year he could be a huge player for his side.

12. Jamie Roberts

Rumours are that Roberts is set to join either Harlequins or Cardiff Blues, with the London based club believed to be his more likely destination.

11. Tim Visser

The Scotland fliers signature has been confirmed ahead of next season, and Quins will be hoping he will be at his try-scoring best next year.

10. Nick Evans

Experienced fly-half Nick Evans has been a bit off-form this year, however Quins will be hoping he is back to his best form next season.

9. Danny Care

Care may have fallen out of favour with the England set-up, however he is still a key player for Harlequins and will be integral to their form next season.

1. Joe Marler

Marler is the current Harlequins captain and England’s first choice loosehead right now so will be integral to his side next year.

2. Dave Ward

Dave Ward is another Harlequin who has struggled for form a bit this year, however last season he was sublime and will be hoping to get back to that level.

3. Adam Jones

The Welsh tighthead may not be quite at his form of a few years ago, but should help ensure the Quins scrum is a much stronger platform next season.

4. Charlie Matthews

There’s still some debate about whether Matthews, has what it takes, but he has shown on occasion that he has the talent for the top level.

5. James Horwill

The former Wallabies captain is set to join after the World Cup and will be a huge boost to a second row that has been woefully under-powered this year.

6. Mamuka Gorgodze

The giant Georgian is rumoured to be a target for Harlequins and would bring some much needed power to the Quins pack.

7. Chris Robshaw

Robshaw is one of the best loose forwards in the Premiership and captain of England making him a key player for Harlequins.

8. Nick Easter

Despite his age, Easter is currently in just about the best form of his life, and will once again be a key player for Quins next year.
