Cross-code sensation Israel Folau has this week been spotted talking to Todd Greenbery, the head of the NRL in a Sydney Cafe.
It is believed that Greenberg is keen to lure Folau back to rugby league and could be set to offer further top-ups to any contract he signs with an NRL team to prise him away from his lucrative contract with the ARU.
It is also believed that that have planned further discreet discussions for a later date.
This news comes not long after Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal indicated that Folau was one of his sides top targets for after the World Cup in 2015.
Folau was an overnight sensation after swapping the NRL for Super Rugby last year and has since gone on to make 18 appearances for the Wallabies, bagging 13 tries in the process. It is this form that has made him one of the hottest properties in rugby and a huge draw for union in a country dominated by league and Aussie rules.
This news will come as a huge blow to the ARU as iconic winger Nick Cummins has already announced he is heading to Japan whilst other reports are suggesting Kurtley Beale could also be on his way to the NRL.
Do you think the ARU need to do everything in their power to keep hold of Folau?
