One appearance in nine months is all it took for Jonathan Joseph to catch Eddie’s eye and get a place back in the England fold.

The Bath speedster made his return to playing in Sunday’s Heineken Champions Cup game against Toulouse after nine months out because of a foot injury.

Joseph looked comfortable in midfield which was an encouraging sign considering the opposition were no slouch, boasting second place in the French Top 14.

Joseph must be held in high regard by Eddie Jones as he has been ushered back in quickly. Jones has a record that speaks for itself with 40 caps and 17 Test tries, featuring last for England against Ireland in the Six Nations 10 months ago.

England’s Six Nations Campaign will kick off with a difficult fixture in Dublin on February 2nd, the 36 squad is as follows:
