England big man, Billy Vunipola, has been ruled out of the Quilter International fixtures against South Africa, New Zealand, Japan and Australia after he fractured his left arm in Saracens win over Glasgow Warriors.
He is expected to have surgery tomorrow and the injury is likely to rule him out for at least 12 weeks.
This is the third time the number 8 has suffered a broken arm in the past 12 months!
His elder brother Mako also picked up an injury in the same fixture, suffering a calf strain.
The woes at number 8 for England are now worsened with Vunipola and Simmonds injured and Nathan Hughes facing a ban – could we see Ben Morgan return in the 8 jersey..
