Smith’s Concussion Problem Turns Out To Be Something Else Completely

All Black Ben Smith missed the second test against the touring Lions with suspected concussion problems.

Although, his boss Steve Hansen has now cleared these claims, stating; “Smith had some tests done over the last seven or eight days in Dunedin, and he has been cleared of concussion,” but this was not the end of his woes, as he went on to say; “What he does have is an inner-ear malfunction which was causing him to get a bit of vertigo and dizziness. That has now cleared. He’s coming back up and he’s going to be around the boys and train.”

This will be a sigh of relief for the Kiwi, but Saturday is a different story, with both sides anticipating a massive game to decide the tour. If the Lions beat the All Blacks, it will only be the second successful tour out of eleven in New Zealand, so holding onto this status will be in the All Blacks’ best interests.

Now the sides have been named for the return to Eden Park in two days time, what are your predictions?
