Laidlaw magic led to Seymour try

Greig Laidlaw had a good game this morning against the Hurricanes, and this interception was his best moment of the game. The hosts were getting close to the Lions try-line and Laidlaw made this quality interception after reading the play to stop the threat.

Although he didn’t quite have the legs to get up the pitch and get the try himself, Seymour was to hand and received the offload to do the rest and get the points.

Although the score is not what Gatland would have wanted, it was certainly the best game to watch from the tour so far.

The Lions face the All Blacks in their next game on Saturday as they return to todays venue, the Westpak Stadium.
