Blackadder pays Tom Dunn the compliment of a lifetime

Tom Dunn Bath Rugby 2017

Bath head coach Todd Blackadder has paid Bath’s rising star Tom Dunn a rather big compliment, stating; “I reckon he’d be an All Black if he played in New Zealand.”

Dunn has surprisingly only had one start for the Bath’s first team since being promoted from the youth set up, but he is set for many more based on what his boss has said. “The way he gets around the field, his defence and his physicality,” are just some of the reasons that Blackadder gave to back his statement, further going on to say; “..he plays like that every week.”, giving the Bath boss no reason to miss him out next season.

Looking at the quality of the All Blacks, it would be tough for him to break into the squad if he held a Kiwi passport, but with the consistency of the youngster, it wouldn’t be impossible; making it a good possibility that we will see him in the England set up at some point in the near future. But with faces such as Hartley also occupying the position, he will have to earn his shirt.

Who thinks that Dunn is deserving of a place in the England set up after this Aviva Prem’ season?
