England man Danny Care has backed Italy head coach Conor O’Shea to be the one to revitalise the Italy side.
Care has stated that O’Shea had a massive impact at Harlequins in his six year period at the club, and he believes that the Irishman can apply these characteristics to his developing Italy side. Care believes that he possesses all of the right characteristics to revamp the side from fighting to get off the bottom of the table; to one which would give even the likes of England a run for their money.
Care stated on ESPN that; “He’ll be doing so much more than just looking after the Test team. He’ll be going round all the clubs in Italy, inspiring kids and players from all ages, girls, boys, to go out there and play rugby…”
After their defeat to Wales at the weekend, who thinks that O’Shea’s men can come out victorious against Ireland in their next Six Nations match on Saturday?
