All Blacks man rejects move to France.

According to Rugby Heaven and a French newspaper (Midi Olympique), All Black Ben Smith has rejected a move to the top14 to stay with the New Zealand team. The 30 year old who was linked with a potential move to Pau with a tasty salary of around £1.6m, has seen that the honour of playing for the All Blacks and playing in the Lions series later this year is too good to turn down.

New Zealanders all over will be happy with the news; with them needing their top squad to put up a defence against what could still be an unbeaten England side next year. Although, Hansen will currently have his sights set clearly on the Lions tour.

With Steve Hansen looking to pick his squad for the Lions tour, Smith will have to put in the work to cement his place in the team, and he will look to do nothing less. Who thinks Ben Smith is worthy of a place in the squad?
