Ireland have today released their much anticipated squad for the upcoming Six Nations and it looks like they’re going to give England a run for their money.

Schmidt has gone for a 40 man squad for the competition, including two uncapped brothers in the form of Niall and Rory Scannell. The squad which was released earlier today is familiar besides the brothers and their fellow Munster man Andrew Conway who are yet to appear for Ireland. The talks leading up to Schmidt’s squad release have been relatively accurate, as the rest of the squad remains pretty much untouched from their successful 2016; proving Joe must have plans to build on last years squad.

Here’s the line up, any surprises? Who would you have taken and who would you have left out?
