The Harlequins man is the latest to be added to Eddie Jones injury problems as he suffers from a fractured leg. Marler who was expected to be one of the first in Eddie’s line up is now expected to be out until at least mid tournament, which means Eddie could face even bigger problems that first imagined.
Marler could be replaced by Leicester’s Ellis Genge who will have to be on the ball to keep up with the quality the tournament beholds having only had the honour of playing for his country once previously.
Marler who picked up the injury in the warm up for their game against Sale will be looking to get back to full health as quickly as possible as he will not want to miss out on defending the Six nations trophy.
Will England miss him when they kick off the tournament against a tough French side.
