England’s fall guy to Lions round II- Farrell to join Gatland’s coaching team?

andy-farrellAndy Farrell over the past years period has most definitely not been the most popular man across England, which even made him move to Ireland!! Only joking, he went to the Irish after a traumatising RWC with the England set up; new face Eddie Jones sacking all of the England coaching squad to start again, which now looks to have been a proper good decision for England!

The defense coach is now looking up, as he has moulded himself a new image within the Rugby world, this one attaining a much more positive connotation than the one of 2015. Although, will Gatland choose the experienced ex England player to stand by his side, for a second time, but this time in the tour andy-farrell-and-warren-gatland-lions-trainin_2947132of New Zealand. Gatland’s choice wouldn’t be too shocking considering their history together and Farrell’s overall successful coaching career, with the likes of the 2013 Lions tour, which saw him being highly praised by his boss, due to his tenacity and determination to drill a top defensive play into the Lions squad, leading them to concede very few points over the ten games.

Farrell’s extensive experience across the two teams then led him to taking on a role with Irish province Munster in a temporary role. But the thing we all want to know is, will we be seeing a lot of Farrell when it comes to the tour next year? What do you think?
