With the Six Nations set to resume this weekend we take a look at the key highlights from this weeks sporting action and give our predictions…
England v Scotland
This years Calcutta Cup game already has plenty of added spice with Stuart Hogg having claimed the English don’t take Scotland seriously. Whilst both sides come into this weekends game after a disappointing result last time around, have no doubt that they will both be hugely fired up for this. Expect it to be a tight affair with plenty of aggression shown.
Prediction – England by 10
Wales v Ireland
This game has the potential to be the best of the round, although equally it could turn into a bit of a snore fest if both sides tighten up given the importance of the game. If Ireland can beat the Welsh this weekend then they look destined for a Grand Slam this year, however Wales won’t just roll over and should provide a tough test for Joe Schmidt’s men.
Prediction – Ireland by 3
Italy v France
With both sides all but out of the running for the Six Nations title this year, it would be easy to see this game turning into a bit of a damp squib, especially if France get their own way. That being said, Italy will likely be fired up after their Victory in Edinburgh and will be keen to take it to France as they look to maintain momentum.
Prediction – Italy by 5
As well as the Six Nations this weekend, the Cheltenham festival will also be in full swing so we thought we’d provide a few extra tips as an added bonus…
Sprinter Sacre (Wednesday)
From 8.30am on Wednesday, Coral have a hero offer on 2013 Champion Chase winner Sprinter Sacre who will be pushed out to 9/2 from 3/1 for a limited time only.
On Thursday keep an eye out for Monetaire who is being tipped as the bet of the whole meet, and at odds of 9/1 could be a great option.
Two Rockers (Friday)
With odds of 21/1 Two Rockers could be too long of a shot for some, however he’s being tipped by several sources as a solid bet in the final race.
