England Set To Make Controversial Change For Scotland Game

England head coach Stuart Lancaster is set to announce a change to his starting XV that is sure to cause a stir amongst fans.

Saracens centre Brad Barritt is due to replace Luther Burrell in the midfield after coming through this weekends game against Wasps unscathed.

Luther Burrell missed training last week with a calf injury but it is thought that his place at inside-centre was under threat anyway after England’s disappointing 19-9 defeat in Dublin last weekend.

It is also likely Courtney Lawes will return to the fray as both George Kruis and Dave Attwood struggled against Ireland, with early reports suggesting Kruis is likely to be the one to miss out.

It’s also likely Lancaster will re-call Geoff Parling to the bench ahead of Nick Easter for this weekends clash, whilst Tom Wood is likely to replace Tom Croft on the bench.

It also appears likely that Mike Brown will return at full back, whilst Dylan Hartley’s place is set to come under pressure from Tom Youngs. James Haskell will also be scrutinised during the game.

Do you think these changes will see England beat Scotland?
