It’s been reported now in a number of news outlets that this is the England side set to face Wales in their 2015 Six Nations opener in Cardiff;

Mike Brown; Anthony Watson, Jonathan Joseph, Luther Burrell, Jonny May; George Ford, Ben Youngs; Joe Marler, Dylan Hartley, Dan Cole, Dave Attwood, George Kruis, James Haskell, Chris Robshaw, Billy Vunipola.

In addition to this side, it is believed that both Danny Cipriani and Nick Easter will feature on the bench for England. This marks a remarkable turnaround for the pair who just weeks ago didn’t even look likely to feature in the wider playing squad.

Easter, who is yet to feature under Lancaster, is likely to end up on the bench as he can cover both the back row and second row where injuries have presented problems for England of late. The 36-year-old has 47 caps to his name, but hasn’t featured since the 2011 World Cup.

Cipriani, who hasn’t played in the Six Nations since 2008, did feature for England in a couple of cameo appearances during their tour of New Zealand in 2014, but fell out of favour once more during the Autumn Internationals.

Meanwhile Jonathan Joseph is set to be given an opportunity in the centres alongside Luther Burrell after a series of impressive performances for Bath of late. Elsewhere Ben Youngs is set to retain his place ahead of Danny Care whilst Dan Cole looks set to start at tighthead despite only just recovering from a long-term injury.

Other than this, the team is pretty much as expected with injuries forcing Stuart Lancaster’s hand in a number of positions. Do you think this side will be good enough to topple Wales in Cardiff?
