Bath’s Potential Starting XV for Next Season is Incredible

Huddle - Bath Rugby v Leicester Tigers

This is a team put together based on the current Bath squad and the current rumours circulating about their potential new recruits for next season…

15.Anthony Watson

The elusive running of Watson has seen him compared to Jason Robinson at times, if he can develop his kicking game then he can be a real prospect for England and Bath.

14.Semesa Rokoduguni

Rokoduguni is already one of the most devastating finishers in the Premiership and will be looking to continue these performances for Bath in the hope of getting more time in an England shirt.

13.Kyle Eastmond

Although Eastmond’s preferred position has been at 12 for Bath and England, he has all the attributes to flourish outside Burgess for Bath.

12.Sam Burgess

Burgess still has a lot of work to do before he is likely to be a regular starter, but if he can fulfill even half of his potential he’s likely to be devastating for Bath.

11.Adam Ashley-Cooper

Ashley-Cooper looks set to leave Australia after the World Cup and although a move to France seems more likely there have been rumours he could be on the way to The Rec to replace Agulla.

10.George Ford

Ford has been absolutely sensational for Bath so far this season and has now been given chance to replicate this form on the international stage.

9.Will Genia

There are now a number of strong rumours linking Wallabies scrum half Genia with a move to Bath to replace Peter Stringer who looks likely to retire at the end of the season.

8.Ben Morgan

The rumour of Morgan to Bath seems quite outlandish given he is a Gloucester supporter, however the lure of silverware at The Rec could be enough to persuade the powerful Number 8.

7.Francois Louw

Bath’s captain and a key member of the Springboks side, Louw looks likely to see out his career at Bath and there’s no doubting how key he will be to their hopes of silverware.

6.Duane Vermeulen

Vermeulen has been heavily linked with a move to Bath for some time now and although normally employed at 8 he has shown in the past he can pack down on the side of the scrum.

5.Dave Attwood

Attwood has now firmly broken into both the Bath and England teams and looks unlikely to be going anywhere soon as he uses his huge power to push both on next year.

4.Joe Launchbury

This particular rumour is seeming more and more unrealistic given Launchbury has signed a contract extension with Wasps, however it is still a touted move so don’t write it off completely.

3.David Wilson

Wilson must now be considered one of the finest tightheads in world rugby after a superb 2014 confirmed his starting position for both club and country.

2.Rob Webber

Webber is another Bath man who is not far off a regular start for England, he will therefore be hoping to build on his recent form and continue to push for a regular England spot.

1.Paul James

Rumour has it that James could be on his way at the end of the season, however with nothing confirmed the powerful Welshman is included as he continues to improve with
