Will Skelton’s 145KG Brother Signs With the Chiefs

Will Skelton’s 205cm, 145kg younger brother Cameron has decided to move out of his older brothers not inconsiderable shadow at the Tahs and sign on with the Chiefs.

Cameron had been a valued member of the Waratahs’ U20’s squad and looked set to step up to the senior side in 2015’s Super Rugby competition.

However, having represented Samoa in the junior world championships in New Zealand last month, Dave Rennie and the Chiefs offered Cameron a package that was too good to turn down.

Will meanwhile wrapped up a historic NSW win on Saturday night

“We were under a lot of pressure and I guess that try sort of sealed the match,” he said of his second-half run.

“But the boys were working hard off the ball and I heard a voice from Nard [Foley] and you give him the ball when he wants it. I was lucky enough to get the pass away and credit to Nard for being in the right place.”

It seems however that the Skelton brothers could be set to face one another next season when their respective sides meet in Super Rugby.

  1. The picture you have isn’t Cameron Skelton, It’s his 13 year old brother… (yes he is that big)
